Join us for the 3pm lecture and pop-up exhibit with Chris Hunter, archivist at MiSci, and learn about the landmark first decades of the radio station and its remote broadcasts from the Kenmore Ballroom.  Watch history in the making as Musicians of Ma'alwyck, baritone Charles Eaton, and members of Schenectady Light Opera Company recreate those first years of groundbreaking broadcasting by WGY. You will be in the audience to hear the first musical piece ever played on WGY in its first transmission on February 20, 1922.  This radio drama will be performed live on WGY.
